Youth
ARP has experienced licensed therapists who use researched “best practices” approaches such as The Seven Challenges (view description) to provide an array of educational and treatment programs for youth, ages 13 to 18. Our counselors help young people pause, think, and make their own wise decisions to change. They do this by creating an atmosphere in which youth will open up and talk honestly about themselves and their lives. Participants begin to understand what they have been seeking from drugs or alcohol and develop the ability to meet their needs in healthy ways.
ARP is a leader in Prevention Services for youth and families and offers programs that bring families together to learn to communicate and support each other.

Can I get help without my parents or teachers knowing?
During our intake process, you will be asked to fill out a form that indicates who we may communicate with and under what circumstances. We also ask you who your support group is and we arrange to have team meetings with those individuals, with your consent. Unless your safety or that of another is at risk, you are in total control of who knows you are in treatment.
How should I prepare to talk with my child about drugs/alcohol?
