We would like to help you put your recent arrest for DWI behind you while supporting you in any way that we can.

Getting arrested for DWI can be confusing and a bit scary.  It’s a time when you need a friend, someone in your corner who looks out for your interests.  That’s where we come in. We’re not here to make you feel more embarrassed than you already are.  We just give you clear, easy-to-understand, up-to-date information to help you meet the requirements of the court.

We start with the DWI assessment. Our staff first completes a thorough and personalized substance abuse assessment.  We meet with you for an hour or two and look at the details of your arrest, your history, and current drinking patterns.  The assessment helps us develop a treatment recommendation that will get you through this bump in the road. In order to make the assessment easier and faster, please print out our Assessment Checklist of things to bring with you for your appointment.

Education instead of treatment may be the right place for you to start and you can attend our ADETS (see below) program. If you chose ARP for your assessment, you’ll need to provide us with a copy of your ticket and breathalyzer results.

    Our fees are very reasonable
ARP understands that costs are a concern for you.  If you need treatment, we’ll develop a payment plan to keep your out-of-pocket costs as low as possible.

    Who is Eligible for ADETS?
ADETS uses a person-friendly program called Prime for Life.  You’ll find that it helps you understand the psychological and physical aspects of addiction as well as the factors that may lead to dependence. A substance abuse or DWI Assessment may indicate that ADETS is a good fit for you. Click here for assessment information.
For DWI offenders, you must meet all of the following requirements to be eligible for ADETS:

    • A showing of no substance abuse risk from the assessment
    • First DWI charge
    • A Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) of .14 or less on the breathalyzer
    • Proof of referral into ADETS from the DWI substance abuse assessor
    • Out of State referrals requesting ADETS may also be admitted.  You must show proof of judgment and an assessment from the referring state in addition to the above requirements.

The DMV must have a certificate of completion from the service provider showing the completed assessment and completion of either a treatment program or ADETS before a driver’s license may be reinstated.
