    Executive Director ARP

    As director of the largest substance abuse and crisis provider in Western North Carolina, Tom has financial, administrative and clinical oversight of 120 employees. In addition to his job responsibilities, he is a surveyor for the Council on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, Clinical Supervisor for Four Circles Recovery Center and is a member of the board of directors of The Mountain Council for Drug and Alcohol Dependence.

    Tom holds a double Master’s Degree in Addiction and Marriage & Family Therapy and is currently studying for a Doctorate in Public Health with a focus on Executive Management at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

    He is committed to changing the legislative approach to addiction from one of criminal prosecution to disease-based public health intervention. Tom has extensive experience in program development and community organization and has played an integral role in changing the policy and procedure of behavioral health in North Carolina.

    Director of Prevention and Out-Patient Services

    After losing her brother to his lifelong battle with addiction, Danielle utilized her background in education to enter the field of substance abuse prevention. In 2004 she began working at ARP as a Prevention Facilitator and in 2005 was promoted to Coordinator, responsible for all prevention strategies within Buncombe County.

    Danielle completed Certification as a Substance Abuse Prevention Consultant through the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board in 2008; and in March of that same year she was promoted to Director of Prevention Services.In 2010 she was promoted again to the Director of Prevention and Out-patient Services. She has served as chair for the North Carolina Prevention Provider Association’s Quality Assurance and Standards Committee.

    Director, Neil Dobbins Center

    Keisha joined ARP in 2008 as the director of the crisis stabilization and detoxification units at Neil Dobbins Center. She comes to us with 17 years of experience in the human services field. Her specialties include inpatient and residential psychiatric care and geriatric long term care. Keisha's current projects include restructuring the crisis stabilization program at Neil Dobbins Center to best meet the needs of the community, and to replicate this program at a sister facility in Wilmington, NC.

    Tracie BodfordTracie Bodford MSW LCSW LCAS
    Lead Clinician, ARP Crossroads


    In 2008 Tracie joined ARP Crossroads, which serves Henderson County with diagnostic assessments, education and treatment for substance abuse and mental health disorders. She has 14 years of experience in a variety of fields including criminal justice, hospital social work, inpatient and outpatient psychiatric and forensic services, child welfare and substance abuse. Tracie received her Master’s in Social Work from the University of South Carolina in 2004 and Masters level licensure in substance abuse counseling in 2009.

    As Lead Clinician, Tracie is responsible for administrative and clinical oversight at ARP Crossroads, as well as developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with other community agencies, referral sources and providers. In her role as clinician, she provides preventive and therapeutic interventions for mental health and substance abuse in individual, family and group settings. top
